These general terms and conditions govern the remote purchase of products via the website www.ettoremassotti.com, owned by CALZATURIFICIO ETTORE MASOTTI S.R.L., with its registered office at VIALE FRANCESCO REDI 107 – 50144 – FLORENCE (FI), VAT number 03303930485, hereinafter referred to as “the Seller.” Purchase transactions shall be governed by the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree no. 206/2005), while privacy protection shall be subject to the provisions of Legislative Decree 196/03.
The Maria Sole brand belongs to CALZATURIFICIO ETTORE MASOTTI S.R.L.
The purchase of products is made by the Customer at the indicated price, plus any shipping costs, as specified below.
Products are accurately depicted and displayed on the Site to reflect their actual characteristics. In any case, the Seller cannot guarantee an exact match to reality regarding images and colors as they appear on the Customer’s computer or device.
The assortment of products on the site reflects their actual availability. However, there is a remote possibility that at the time the order is placed, some items may no longer be available or for sale. In the event that the order cannot be fulfilled as requested by the Customer, the Seller will promptly notify the Customer via email, and the order will be canceled.
The sales agreement between the Seller and the Customer is considered finalized upon the written confirmation of the order sent to the Customer via email. All prices are expressed in Euros and include VAT. All prices do not include shipping costs or any additional charges. Shipping costs are indicated at the end of the purchase process, prior to confirmation.

All transactions are processed via a secure server, and the Customer is guaranteed maximum data protection. Upon purchase, the Customer enters their credit card details into a secure electronic banking system provided by PAYPAL. Should sufficient funds be available for the purchase and the provided banking details be valid, the transaction will be processed instantly.
Shipment is carried out by our designated carriers, and delivery times vary depending on the destination.
The consumer may select a carrier other than that utilized by Calz. Ettore Masotti; in any event, the risks and costs of shipment shall be borne entirely by the consumer effective from the date of delivery of the product to the selected carrier.
In Italy, delivery costs €9.00 and takes between 2 to 5 business days. Purchases with personalization may require up to 10 business days.
Within the European Union, delivery times range from 3 to 5 days; costs vary according to the destination country:
The website indicates the countries where delivery can be made, the availability of the selected product, and the estimated delivery times; however, such information shall be considered purely indicative and not binding upon the seller. In particular, the buyer accepts that delivery times for goods, due to the artisanal nature of production and processing, may be subject to delays or may be canceled and not fulfilled, at the sole discretion of the seller. Delivery times will be indicated only upon order confirmation.
The seller undertakes to adhere, as far as possible, to the delivery times indicated on the website and, in any case, subject to the provisions of the preceding point. Should the consumer choose payment via bank transfer, the delivery period shall commence upon receipt of payment by the seller. In the event that delivery cannot be made due to the unavailability of the selected product, the seller shall inform the buyer via email and shall refund the amounts paid, in accordance with the provisions of these general terms and conditions.
Should the package be undeliverable due to a lack of cooperation from the Customer (incorrect phone number, incorrect address, repeated absence during delivery, customer refuses delivery), the shipment may be returned to the sender at the customer’s expense. These expenses will be deducted from any final refund.
Shipping costs are fixed and cover transportation, excluding customs duties, which shall be borne by the Customer:
Packages destined for EU countries do not contain an invoice or any other documentation stating the value of the goods. All shipments directed to non-EU countries, as required by customs procedures, are accompanied by an official invoice declaring the value of individual items. Customs duties and taxes shall be borne by the Customer.
The risk of loss or damage to ordered products, for reasons not attributable to Calz. Ettore Masotti S.r.l., shall instead be transferred to the consumer at the time of shipment, collection, or delivery to the carrier. Any loss or damage to the products during transit shall be borne by the buyer.
Upon arrival of the goods, the Customer is required to inspect the package before signing to confirm receipt of the shipment. If for any reason the packaging appears tampered with or the adhesive tape is not intact, the customer must sign for receipt with reservation.
By exercising the right of withdrawal, the customer may return items purchased on this site within 14 business days from the date of receipt.
To request return authorization, you must send an email to info@ettoremasotti.com, indicating the order number and the items you intend to return; once the procedure is complete, the Seller will send a confirmation email to the customer.
Please note that Calzaturificio Ettore Masotti is not responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item is defective and the defect is recognized by Calzaturificio Ettore Masotti. Please allow 14 days for the processing of the return and the relative refund.
The buyer accepts that the products sold by Calzaturificio Ettore Masotti are handcrafted and, as such, may be subject to minor imperfections resulting from artisanal rather than industrial processing. Please contact us at info@ettoremasotti.com with any questions.

In addition to the provisions of the previous point, the Customer’s right to return will be considered correctly exercised when the following conditions have been met:
Upon receipt of the return, the Seller will verify compliance with the above procedure and strict adherence to all return conditions. Thereafter, the Seller will send the Customer an email accepting the return and initiating the refund procedure, which will be carried out using the same payment method within the following 14 days.
Users accessing this site agree that all matters relating to the use of the website www.ettoremassotti.com shall be governed by the current legislation of the Italian State.
